Lighting and Shade Control is a great way to customize your home and typically the first steps in creating a smart home and/or linking it to Home Automation. However, you don't have to automate these features if you wish to upgrade and save money at the same time. With this route, you can align your lights and/or window shades to a device or wall panel in order to control. By a push of a button be able to raise or lower your blinds, use a scroller to choose the position you want your blinds to be open at, and choose between individual blinds or all at the same time. Again, this can be done by adding a panel to the wall or you can upgrade it even more by enabling them to be able to sync to a smart device so you can do it from a tablet or smart phone.

When it comes to the lighting aspect the controls, you get the same option of a wall panel and/or syncing it to a smart device. You don't have to choose one over the other in either of these systems, you may absolutely have both if you prefer; a wall panel and control through a wireless device. Just like the shade control, you ca set "groups", so you can control individual lights, or all the outside, or just the inside lights, or a combination of any you want. This can all be pretty confusion, especially when setting it all up, and that is where we come in!
